Aevum is the Latin for time as duration — the opposite of chronos, time that can be counted. It does not tell you how much of the day is left. It tells you which part of it you are living.

Aevum began with digital detox — with what happens to people who live non-stop and are then taken away from their screens. Within a day or two their inner rhythm stops following the clock and starts following the light.
We wanted the antithesis of the smartphone: not an object that takes attention, but one that gives back the ability to feel a day passing. It refuses the tyranny of linear, quantitative time and returns time to something cyclical and qualitative.
So every glance at it is not a reminder that time is running out, but an invitation to notice which moment is being lived right now. That is where the magic is.
No numerals. Only notches.
The face carries no figures — a deliberate refusal of the system we usually measure with. Restrained notches mark the round, and nothing counts anything down.
What remains is the hour hand, and with it the day arrives as a phase and a mood rather than a number. The minute stops being a unit you owe someone.
A monolith,
matte and cold
Anodised aluminium with a matte finish, standing as a minimalist totem. Aluminium is the metal of aviation and of the devices in our pockets — it stands here for sterile, technologically mediated time. Set against the warm, poetic idea of shifting phases, that coldness becomes the piece's argument: a search for the human inside the machine.
Four faces, four phases of the light
A unique mechanism that changes colour throughout the day. It glows orange in the morning, pale yellow during the day, violet in the evening, and blue at night — four faces cut as colour collages from digital photographs, with the movement left exposed as a performance.
